The Littlest Spy

Excerpt, Young Adult Fantasy.   Target age: 12+

Details:   Working title.   This work was first penned in 1988, when the author was thirteen.   Despite seventeen drafts, the author is still dissatisfied.   The text covers the adventures of John, a seven-inch half-human who thinks he is a spy.   During the course of the story he discovers... well, he's sort of confused.

Details: The only poem in the repertoire worth printing, in the author's opinion.

Exilium

Excerpt, Fantasy.   Target age: Adult.

Details:   This work is the latest by Kyr M. Rook, copyright 2002.   It depicts the struggle of an exiled necromancer against social prejudice, political pressure from the School that ostracized him, and a youthful sidekick who, despite their troubles, always seems to make more.
